Festive Bandana Picnic Table Cloth

I love my new picnic table cloth!! Isn't it cute? All I did was sew 16 bandannas together like my mama did a few years ago.  It will be so fun to have for the 4th!! PS don't be fooled by the wrinkles...with a little manipulation it came together nice and straight despite the fact that the bandannas are officially not cut perfectly square.  Loves to all!!

  1. My favorite things about it are it is really light and that it is about 8 feet square! Is perfect for a picnic to the park with kids. Thanks for sharing this with everyone.

My Funeral Potatoes

This recipe is for a classic Funeral Potatoes, or Cheesy potatoes Casserole, that uses fresh potatoes. (I haven't had as much luck with frozen potatoes with this one) It's a comforting and hearty dish that's perfect for gatherings or potlucks. It is addapted from my moms kitchen and I love it! Sometimes I top it with a crumb crust and sometimes its is just topped with cheese but it is delish both ways!

Baked Potato Butter Compound

Are you planning a baked potato bar soon? This butter may take it to the next level. I was inspired by a BBQ restaurant we go to on occasion that serves something similar. Its quite delicious and makes dressing the potato easier. Guests can just grab the butter balls which potentially keeps the line moving verses stopping to add their butter. The butter compound has cheese and seasonings mixed together and tasty!
